略歴（Biography）
宮永 正隆（みやなが まさたか、1960年生まれ）は、日本の音楽評論家、プロデューサー、編集者。石川県金沢市生まれ。早稲田大学法学部卒業後、集英社に入社し、少女漫画誌『りぼん』の編集者として活動した。その後独立し、漫画家さくらももこの作品やアニメーション制作に携わるとともに、音楽プロデューサーとしても活躍した。現在はビートルズ研究の第一人者として国際的に知られ、講演活動「ビートルズ大学」を主宰するほか、音楽誌での連載や講演、メディア出演を通じて、The Beatlesの音楽や文化的影響について幅広く発信している。2016年刊行の『ビートルズ来日学―1966年、4人に出会った日本人の証言』では、日本公演を当時の証言や資料をもとに多角的に検証し、1966年の来日が日本の音楽文化や社会に与えた影響を詳細に考察している。
Masataka Miyanaga (born 1960) is a Japanese music critic, producer, editor, and author best known for his expertise on The Beatles. Born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, he graduated from Waseda University and began his career as an editor for Ribon, a leading manga magazine published by Shueisha. After leaving publishing, he worked as a producer on projects by manga artist Momoko Sakura before establishing himself as one of Japan's foremost Beatles scholars. Through his long-running lecture series "Beatles University," magazine columns, television and radio appearances, and public lectures, he has explored the band's music, history, and cultural legacy from both Japanese and international perspectives. In Beatles in Japan: Testimonies from Those Who Met the Fab Four in 1966 (2016), he presents a meticulously researched account of the Beatles' historic visit to Japan and its lasting impact on Japanese popular culture.
