略歴（Biography）
宮本弘曉（みやもと ひろあき、1977年 - ） 日本の経済学者。一橋大学経済研究所教授。慶應義塾大学大学院を経て、ウィスコンシン大学マディソン校で博士号（経済学）を取得。国際大学教授、東京大学公共政策大学院特任准教授、国際通貨基金（IMF）エコノミスト、東京都立大学教授などを歴任し、マクロ経済学、労働経済学、日本経済論を専門として研究を続けている。日本経済の低成長、賃金停滞、人口減少、財政政策、AIと雇用など幅広いテーマについて理論とデータに基づく分析を行い、政策立案やメディアを通じた発信でも高い評価を受けている。代表作『AI大格差――最先端の研究が明かす仕事と給料の未来』は、人工知能が雇用や賃金、経済格差に与える影響を最新の研究成果に基づいて解説し、AI時代の労働市場と経済の変化を展望した一冊である。
Hiroaki Miyamoto (born 1977) is a Japanese economist and Professor at the Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University. After earning degrees from Keio University, he received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He has served as a professor at the International University of Japan, a specially appointed associate professor at the University of Tokyo, an economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and a professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University. His research focuses on macroeconomics, labor economics, and the Japanese economy, with particular emphasis on productivity, demographic change, fiscal policy, and the impact of artificial intelligence on labor markets. His best-known book, "AI大格差: 最先端の研究が明かす仕事と給料の未来" ("AI and the Great Divide: What Cutting-Edge Research Reveals About the Future of Jobs and Wages"), examines how AI is reshaping employment, wages, and inequality, offering an evidence-based perspective on the future of work and economic growth.
