Mina Miyajima (born 1983) is a Japanese novelist from Shiga Prefecture. She made her literary debut in 2021 with “Arigatō Seibu Ōtsu-ten,” later collected in Naruse Takes the World, which won the 2024 Japan Booksellers' Award as well as the Tsubota Joji Literature Award. Set primarily in her native Shiga, her fiction combines humor with a warm, compassionate perspective on everyday life. Through distinctive and memorable characters, she vividly portrays personal growth, resilience, and the quiet joys of contemporary life.
