Seiko Mimaki (born 1981) is a Japanese political scientist and Professor at the Graduate School of Global Studies, Doshisha University. A graduate of the University of Tokyo, she specializes in U.S. political and diplomatic history, international relations, and peace studies. After conducting research at institutions including Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University, she joined Doshisha University, where she studies the changing international order, American politics, and the future of democracy. Her book *Z Sedai no America* (*America's Generation Z*) examines the political attitudes and social values of America's youngest generation, offering insights into the country's deepening polarization and evolving democracy.
