Chito Kosagawa (1991–) is a Japanese novelist. After graduating from Hosei University, Kosagawa began writing fiction while working as a company employee. The debut work "Kateiyō Anshin Kōfu" won the 65th Gunzo New Writers' Prize in 2022, marking the beginning of a promising literary career. Kosagawa's fiction is noted for its precise prose and keen observation of loneliness, identity, and the subtle dislocations of contemporary life. In 2026, the novel "Zombie Kaishūfu" won the 175th Akutagawa Prize, establishing Kosagawa as one of the leading voices of a new generation of Japanese writers.
