岸 恵子（kishi keiko）- 俳優、作家

岸惠子（きし けいこ、1932年 - 2026年）は、横浜市生まれの女優、作家。1951年に映画『我が家は楽し』でデビューし、『君の名は』『雪国』『おとうと』『細雪』など、日本映画を代表する作品に数多く出演した。1957年にフランス人映画監督イヴ・シャンピとの結婚を機に渡仏し、その後は日本とフランスを行き来しながら女優、作家、ジャーナリストとして活動。世界各地を取材した経験をもとに、激動する現代史の現場と自身の人生を重ねて綴った『ベラルーシの林檎』で日本エッセイスト・クラブ賞を受賞した。2001年には映画『かあちゃん』で日本アカデミー賞最優秀主演女優賞を受賞し、2017年には長年にわたる映画と文筆の活動に対して菊池寛賞が贈られた。

Keiko Kishi (1932–2026) was a Japanese actress and writer born in Yokohama. She made her film debut in 1951 with "Wagaya wa Tanoshii" and appeared in numerous major Japanese films, including "Kimi no Na wa," "Snow Country," "Her Brother," and "The Makioka Sisters." After marrying French film director Yves Ciampi in 1957, she moved to France and subsequently divided her life between Japan and France while pursuing careers as an actress, writer, and journalist. Drawing on her travels and reporting around the world, she wrote "Belarus no Ringo," which interweaves encounters with the upheavals of contemporary history with reflections on her own life and received the Japan Essayist Club Award. She later won the Japan Academy Prize for Best Actress for "Big Mama" and received the Kikuchi Kan Prize in 2017 for her long career in film and writing.
