キーゼ・レイモン（Kiese Laymon、1974–）は、アメリカの作家、エッセイスト。人種、階級、家族、暴力、依存、自己認識を主題に、自身の経験をもとにした率直で力強い作品を発表し、現代アメリカ文学を代表する声の一人として注目を集めている。代表作『ヘヴィ――あるアメリカ人の回想』では、母親との複雑な関係やアメリカ南部で育った経験を通して、黒人として生きることの現実と自己形成の過程を深く描き、全米批評家協会賞を受賞するなど高い評価を得た。
Kiese Laymon (born 1974) is an American writer and essayist whose work explores race, class, family, violence, addiction, and identity with remarkable honesty and emotional power. Drawing on his experiences growing up in Mississippi, he has emerged as one of the most important voices in contemporary American literature. His acclaimed memoir Heavy: An American Memoir examines his complex relationship with his mother and the realities of being Black in the American South. The book won the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction and is widely praised for its literary brilliance and unflinching self-examination.
