キャサリン・ブー（Katherine Boo、1964–）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト。調査報道を専門とし、『ワシントン・ポスト』や『ニューヨーカー』誌で医療、貧困、教育、社会的不平等をテーマに数多くの報道を発表してきた。綿密な現地取材と長期にわたるフィールドワークを特徴とし、社会の周縁に生きる人々の姿を丹念に描くノンフィクションで高い評価を受けている。代表作『いつまでも美しく――インド・ムンバイのスラムに生きる人びと』では、ムンバイのスラムで暮らす人々の日常を通して、貧困や格差、希望、そして急速に変化する都市の現実を描き、2012年の全米図書賞（ノンフィクション部門）を受賞した。
Katherine Boo (1964–) is an American journalist specializing in investigative reporting. Her work for The Washington Post and The New Yorker has focused on poverty, health care, education, and social inequality. Known for immersive reporting and years of fieldwork, she has produced deeply human accounts of people living on the margins of society. Her best-known book, "Behind the Beautiful Forevers", portrays life in a Mumbai slum through the experiences of its residents, offering a powerful examination of poverty, inequality, and resilience. The book won the 2012 National Book Award for Nonfiction.
