北川 蒼（きたがわ そう）は、ビジネス、科学、軍事などのノンフィクションを手がける英語翻訳者。早稲田大学法学部卒業後、米国ケース・ウェスタン・リザーブ大学大学院でMBAを取得。訳書には、第一原理からの思考や逆転の発想など、問題を多角的に考えるための方法を紹介したシェーン・パリッシュ、リアノン・ボービアンの『知の巨人たちの「考え方」を一冊で、一度に、一気に学びきる グレートメンタルモデル』（原題 “The Great Mental Models, Volume 1: General Thinking Concepts”）がある。また、個人情報の流出や偽情報の拡散に対する経営陣の判断を関係者への取材から検証したシーラ・フレンケル、セシリア・カンの『フェイスブックの失墜』（原題 “An Ugly Truth”、長尾 莉紗との共訳）も翻訳している。
So Kitagawa is a Japanese translator of English-language nonfiction on business, science, and military affairs. Kitagawa graduated from Waseda University’s Faculty of Law and earned an MBA at Case Western Reserve University in the United States. Kitagawa’s translations include Shane Parrish and Rhiannon Beaubien’s guide to approaches such as first-principles thinking and inversion, “The Great Mental Models, Volume 1: General Thinking Concepts.” Kitagawa also co-translated, with Risa Nagao, Sheera Frenkel and Cecilia Kang’s investigation of Facebook’s leadership and its handling of privacy breaches and misinformation, “An Ugly Truth: Inside Facebook’s Battle for Domination,” published in Japanese as “Feisubukku no Shittsui.”
