略歴（Biography）
木村 洋（きむら ひろし、1981年生まれ）は、日本の日本近代文学研究者。上智大学文学部教授。専門は日本近代文学で、明治・大正期の文学や文学史、自然主義、私小説などを研究している。神戸大学大学院人文学研究科博士後期課程を修了し、熊本県立大学文学部准教授、上智大学文学部准教授などを経て現職。近代日本において文学の概念や文体、作家と社会の関係がどのように形成・変化してきたのかを、思想史や社会史にも目を向けながら研究している。著書『文学熱の時代―慷慨から煩悶へ』でサントリー学芸賞を受賞。『変革する文体―もう一つの明治文学史』『「蒲団」の時代―自然主義とは何だったのか』などの著作を通じて、日本近代文学を新たな視点から読み解く研究者として高く評価されている。
Hiroshi Kimura (born 1981) is a Japanese scholar of modern Japanese literature and Professor in the Faculty of Humanities at Sophia University. His research focuses on modern Japanese literature, particularly the literary culture of the Meiji and Taisho periods, naturalism, the I-novel, and the development of modern literary history. After completing his doctorate at Kobe University, he taught at the Prefectural University of Kumamoto before joining Sophia University. His scholarship examines how concepts of literature, literary styles, and the relationship between writers and society evolved in modern Japan, drawing on perspectives from intellectual and social history. He received the Suntory Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities for Bungakunetsu no Jidai and is also the author of Henkaku suru Buntai and “Futon” no Jidai. Through his research and writing, Kimura has established himself as a leading scholar offering new perspectives on the history of modern Japanese literature.
