Gail Jones (born 1955) is an Australian novelist whose fiction explores family memory and loss through art and images. In “The Death of Noah Glass,” two siblings grapple with their art historian father’s sudden death and suspicions linking him to a stolen sculpture. The novel won the 2019 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Fiction.
