池井戸潤(いけいど・じゅん、1963年生まれ)は、日本の小説家。慶應義塾大学文学部卒業後、三菱銀行(現・三菱UFJ銀行)に勤務し、その経験を生かして企業や金融業界を舞台にした小説を数多く執筆している。1998年、『果つる底なき』で江戸川乱歩賞を受賞してデビュー。2011年、『下町ロケット』で直木三十五賞を受賞した。『半沢直樹』シリーズ、『空飛ぶタイヤ』『陸王』『七つの会議』など、社会派エンターテインメントとして高い評価を受けた作品の多くがテレビドラマや映画化され、幅広い読者・視聴者から支持を集めている。

Jun Ikeido (born 1963) is a Japanese novelist best known for his bestselling business and financial thrillers. After graduating from Keio University, he worked at Mitsubishi Bank (now MUFG Bank), drawing on his banking experience to create compelling stories set in the corporate and financial worlds. He made his literary debut in 1998 when "Hatsuru Soko Naki" (Endless Depths) won the Edogawa Rampo Prize. In 2011, he received the Naoki Prize for "Shitamachi Rocket." Many of his novels—including the "Hanzawa Naoki" series, "Flying Tire," "Rikuō," and "The Seven Conferences"—have been adapted into highly successful television dramas and films. Widely acclaimed for combining suspense with sharp insights into corporate life, Ikeido is one of Japan's most popular contemporary novelists.
