イシコ（ishiko）- 漫画家

イシコは、広島県東広島市出身の漫画家。第87回ちばてつや賞で佳作を受賞した後、2024年から2025年まで講談社の「コミックDAYS」で『邪神の弁当屋さん』を連載した。同作は「このマンガがすごい！2026」オトコ編第6位、マンガ大賞2026第3位に選ばれ、全4巻で完結している。代表作『邪神の弁当屋さん』は、戦争を引き起こした罰として人間の姿にされた死と実りの神ソランジュが、レイニーと名乗って弁当屋を営み、一日一善を重ねる物語である。歌手を夢見る同居人や病をつかさどる神、身寄りのない少年など、それぞれに欠落や孤独を抱えた者たちが、レイニーの作る弁当を通じて同じ時間を分かち合っていく。

Ishiko is a Japanese manga artist from Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture. After receiving an honorable mention in the 87th Tetsuya Chiba Award, Ishiko serialized “The Devil’s in the Lunch Deals” on Kodansha’s Comic Days platform from 2024 to 2025. The completed four-volume series ranked sixth on the male readers’ list of “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2026” and third in the 2026 Manga Taisho. “The Devil’s in the Lunch Deals” follows Solange, a goddess of death and harvest who is turned into a human as punishment for causing a war. Living under the name Lainey, she runs a bento shop and performs one good deed each day, sharing food and companionship with people and gods burdened by loneliness, fear, illness, and uncertain futures.
