イア・ゲンバーグ(Ia Genberg、1967年生まれ)は、スウェーデンの小説家、ジャーナリスト。ストックホルム生まれ。ジャーナリストとして活動した後、2012年に『Söta fredag(Sweet Friday)』で作家デビューした。記憶や愛、人間関係、喪失を繊細かつ詩的な筆致で描く作品で高い評価を受け、現代スウェーデン文学を代表する作家の一人として知られる。2022年に刊行した『Detaljerna(細部)』でスウェーデン最高峰の文学賞であるオーグスト賞を受賞し、英訳版は2024年の国際ブッカー賞最終候補となった。2026年には短編集『Klen tröst』の英訳版 Small Comfort が再び国際ブッカー賞の候補に選ばれた。著書に『Sweet Friday』『Belated Farewell』『Small Comfort』『The Details』などがある。
Ia Genberg (born 1967) is a Swedish novelist and former journalist. Born in Stockholm, she began her writing career after working as a journalist, making her literary debut in 2012 with "Sweet Friday." Her fiction is celebrated for its elegant, psychologically nuanced explorations of memory, love, friendship, loss, and the enduring traces people leave in one another's lives. She won Sweden's prestigious August Prize in 2022 for "The Details," whose English translation was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize in 2024.
