伊藤 和典（いとう かずのり、1954年–）は、日本の脚本家。山形県出身。1982年にテレビアニメ『うる星やつら』で脚本家としてデビューした。『機動警察パトレイバー』ではシリーズ構成と脚本を担当し、押井守監督の映画『GHOST IN THE SHELL / 攻殻機動隊』や平成ガメラ三部作の脚本も手がけた。『ガメラ 大怪獣空中決戦』ではヨコハマ映画祭の脚本賞を受賞。アニメーションと実写映画の双方で活動し、小説や脚本集も刊行している。小説『「機動警察パトレイバー」寿司屋の後藤』では、かつて特車二課の隊長だった後藤喜一が熱海で営む寿司屋を舞台に、約30年後の登場人物たちの暮らしと再会を描いている。
Kazunori Ito (1954–) is a Japanese screenwriter born in Yamagata Prefecture. He made his screenwriting debut with the television anime “Urusei Yatsura” in 1982. He worked on series composition and scripts for “Mobile Police Patlabor” and wrote the screenplays for Mamoru Oshii’s “Ghost in the Shell” and the Heisei Gamera trilogy. His screenplay for “Gamera: Guardian of the Universe” won the screenwriting award at the Yokohama Film Festival. Working across animation and live-action cinema, he has also published novels and collections of his scripts. His novel “Kido Keisatsu Patlabor: Sushiya no Goto” (Goto’s Sushi Restaurant) revisits the Patlabor characters roughly thirty years later, exploring their lives and reunions at a small sushi restaurant in Atami run by former police captain Kiichi Goto.
