石垣 憲一（ISHIGAKI Kenichi）- 翻訳家、プログラマー

石垣憲一（いしがき けんいち）は、英語のノンフィクションや小説を訳す日本の翻訳家。ベン・バーナンキの回顧録『危機と決断』を共訳し、中央銀行の政策判断と金融危機への対応を、当事者の視点から紹介。フィリップ・ノーマンの『ポール・マッカートニー ザ・ライフ』を共訳し、音楽家の創作と人間関係、長い活動の歩みを伝えている。チャールズ・ジャレットの『知の教科書 スピノザ』では、哲学者の生涯と、神、自然、人間の感情をめぐる思想への入門を訳した。音楽や思想を扱う著作に加え、ケント・レスターの『第七の太陽』などのスリラーも手がけている。

Kenichi Ishigaki is a Japanese translator of English-language nonfiction and fiction. He co-translated Ben Bernanke’s memoir “The Courage to Act,” which recounts central-bank decisions during the financial crisis from a participant’s perspective. Philip Norman’s “Paul McCartney: The Life,” another collaborative translation, traces the musician’s creative work, relationships, and career. Charles Jarrett’s introduction to Spinoza explores the philosopher’s life and ideas about God, nature, and human emotions. Alongside books on music, economic affairs, and philosophy, Ishigaki translates thrillers, including Kent Lester’s “The Seventh Sun.”
