Taiki Inaba (1977–) is a Japanese management consultant. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, he completed graduate studies in science and engineering at Waseda University. Drawing on his professional experience, he made his literary debut with "Oedo Futures", which won the 67th Mephisto Prize. The novel reimagines the financial crisis of the Tokugawa shogunate as a management turnaround, following Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune and a mysterious group of ninja consultants as they apply cost reduction, organizational reform, incentive design, and other modern business ideas to rebuilding the government.
