今泉 千尋（IMAIZUMI Chihiro）- ジャーナリスト

今泉千尋（いまいずみ・ちひろ）は、日本のライター、ジャーナリスト。早稲田大学第一文学部を卒業後、出版社や国連などでの勤務を経て独立し、国連平和大学でメディアと平和構築を学んだ。シリア難民やミャンマーの少数民族など、紛争と難民をテーマに取材を重ね、「クーリエ・ジャポン」「ニューズウィーク日本版」「AERA」などにルポルタージュを発表。2017年からロヒンギャの人々を継続的に取材し、『「0825」に私たちは殺され続ける―あるロヒンギャ夫婦の物語』では、迫害を逃れて難民となった夫婦の証言と生活を長期取材に基づいて描いた。

Chihiro Imaizumi is a Japanese journalist and writer specializing in conflict, refugees, and ethnic minorities. After graduating from Waseda University, she worked in publishing and for the United Nations before becoming an independent journalist, and earned a master’s degree in media, peace, and conflict studies from the University for Peace. Her reporting has appeared in Courrier Japon, Newsweek Japan, and AERA. Since 2017, she has documented the experiences of Rohingya communities across South and Southeast Asia. Her book “Watashitachi wa ‘0825’ ni Korosaretsuzukeru: Aru Rohingya Fufu no Monogatari” recounts, through years of interviews and fieldwork, the lives of a Rohingya couple forced to flee persecution.
