依田高典(いだ たかのり、1965年 - ) 日本の経済学者。京都大学大学院経済学研究科教授。専門は行動経済学、産業組織論、公共経済学、エネルギー経済学で、電力・通信・医療・環境政策など幅広い分野を対象に、経済学を政策へ応用する研究を行っている。日本における行動経済学の第一人者の一人として知られ、ナッジや意思決定に関する研究・普及を通じて、学術界だけでなく一般社会にも行動経済学の考え方を広めてきた。代表作『「ココロ」の経済学――行動経済学から読み解く人間のふしぎ』は、人間の意思決定や消費行動を豊富な事例とともにわかりやすく解説した入門書であり、行動経済学の魅力を広く紹介した一冊として読み継がれている。
Takanori Ida (born 1965) is a Japanese economist and Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University. His research spans behavioral economics, industrial organization, public economics, and energy economics, with a particular focus on applying economic analysis to public policy in fields such as electricity, telecommunications, healthcare, and environmental policy. Widely recognized as one of Japan's leading scholars of behavioral economics, he has played a central role in introducing concepts such as nudges and behavioral decision-making to both academic and public audiences. His best-known book, *The Economics of the Mind: Understanding Human Behavior Through Behavioral Economics*, offers an accessible introduction to behavioral economics, using everyday examples to explain how people make decisions and why they often depart from the predictions of traditional economic theory.
