古谷 雅樹（FURUYA Masaki） - 植物学研究者

古谷雅樹（ふるや まさき）は、植物生理学を専門とする研究者。東京大学理学部の植物学教室で研究・教育に携わり、植物の成長や環境への応答を扱う専門書の編集・翻訳にも取り組んだ。一般向けの著作でも、植物の働きから生命の仕組みを伝えている。

Masaki Furuya is a researcher in plant physiology. He worked in botany at the University of Tokyo and edited and translated specialist works on plant growth and environmental responses. His writing for general readers likewise uses the study of plants to explain processes of life.
