古屋 博子（FURUYA Hiroko）- コンサルタント、翻訳家

古屋 博子は、強みを生かす人材育成や組織開発に携わるコーチ、翻訳家。慶應義塾大学大学院で政治学の修士号、東京大学大学院で学術の博士号を取得した。2008年にギャラップ社に入社し、ストレングス・ファインダーを用いたコーチングや人材評価に取り組み、独立後も認定コーチの養成に携わった。『さあ、才能に目覚めよう』の翻訳では、個人の資質を理解し、仕事や生活で強みとして活用する考え方を扱う。『ザ・マネジャー』では職場のエンゲージメントと管理職の役割を扱った。

Hiroko Furuya is a coach and translator working in strengths-based development and organizational practice. She earned a master’s degree in political science at Keio University and a doctorate at the University of Tokyo. After joining Gallup in 2008, she worked with strengths coaching and personnel assessment, and continued training certified coaches after becoming independent. Her Japanese translation of StrengthsFinder 2.0 concerns the identification of individual talents and their development into strengths in work and everyday life. Her translation of It’s the Manager examines employee engagement and the role of managers.
