Brian Goldstone（ブライアン・ゴールドストーン）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、人類学者、ノンフィクション作家。Duke Universityで文化人類学の博士号を取得し、Columbia Universityでメロン・リサーチ・フェローを務めた。住居問題、不平等、貧困、人種、移民などをテーマに長期取材を行い、ルポルタージュや評論を執筆。記事は The New York Times、Harper's Magazine、The New Republic などに掲載されている。著書 "There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America" は、アトランタの5つの家族への綿密な取材を通して、働いていても住まいを失う「ワーキング・ホームレス」の実態を描き、大きな反響を呼んだ。2026年には同書でピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。
Brian Goldstone is an American journalist, anthropologist, and nonfiction writer. He earned a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University and was a Mellon Research Fellow at Columbia University. His reporting focuses on housing insecurity, inequality, poverty, race, and migration, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, Harper's Magazine, and The New Republic, among other publications. His book "There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America" follows five families in Atlanta to reveal the growing crisis of the "working homeless" in the United States. Widely praised for its combination of immersive reporting and social analysis, the book won the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction.
