ポール・リンチ（Paul Lynch、1977–） アイルランドの小説家。2013年に『Red Sky in Morning』でデビューし、詩的な文体と人間の尊厳、喪失、暴力を描く作品で国際的に高い評価を受けている。『Grace』でケリー・グループ・アイリッシュ・ノベル・オブ・ザ・イヤー賞を受賞し、2023年には『預言者の歌』（原題 "Prophet Song"）でブッカー賞を受賞した。代表作『預言者の歌』は、権威主義へと傾く近未来のアイルランドを舞台に、一人の母親と家族の姿を通して、自由を失う社会の恐怖と人間の尊厳を描いている。
Paul Lynch (born 1977) is an Irish novelist. Since his debut with "Red Sky in Morning" in 2013, he has earned international acclaim for his lyrical prose and novels exploring human dignity, loss, violence, and the fragility of civilization. His novel "Grace" won the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year Award, and in 2023 he received the Booker Prize for "Prophet Song." His best-known novel, "Prophet Song," portrays a near-future Ireland descending into authoritarianism, following one mother's struggle to protect her family while exploring the human cost of the collapse of freedom.
