Paul Harding（ポール・ハーディング、1967年生まれ）は、アメリカの小説家、音楽家。マサチューセッツ大学アマースト校で英文学を学び、アイオワ大学のアイオワ・ライターズ・ワークショップで創作を学んだ。かつてはロックバンドでドラマーとして活動した経歴を持ち、詩的な文体と自然や時間への深いまなざしを特徴とする作品で高く評価されている。2009年刊行のデビュー作『Tinkers』は、ニューイングランドを舞台に、一人の男の人生と記憶を静謐な筆致で描いた長編小説として高く評価され、2010年のピューリッツァー賞 フィクション部門を受賞した。その後も同じ世界観を共有する作品を発表している。著書に『Tinkers』『Enon』『This Other Eden』などがある。
Paul Harding (born 1967) is an American novelist and musician. He studied English at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before earning an M.F.A. from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Before turning to fiction, he performed as a drummer in a rock band. Harding is celebrated for his lyrical prose and meditative exploration of memory, time, nature, and family. His debut novel Tinkers (2009), a quiet and deeply reflective portrait of a dying man's life in New England, won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He later expanded the fictional world of Tinkers in subsequent novels. His other notable works include Enon and This Other Eden.
