Ben Mezrich (1969–) is an American nonfiction author. He is known for narrative works that chronicle real-life stories from the worlds of technology, finance, entrepreneurship, and sports. Combining extensive research with fast-paced storytelling, he has brought many high-profile business and technology stories to a broad audience, and several of his books have been adapted into major motion pictures. His best-known book, "The Accidental Billionaires", recounts the founding of Facebook and served as the basis for the Academy Award-winning film The Social Network.
