花沢 健吾（hanazawa kengo）- 漫画家

花沢健吾（はなざわ けんご、1974年–）は、青森県八戸市出身の漫画家。漫画家のアシスタントを経て、2004年に『ルサンチマン』で連載デビューした。その後、恋愛と挫折を描く『ボーイズ・オン・ザ・ラン』などを発表。代表作『アイアムアヒーロー』は、漫画家アシスタントの鈴木英雄が、謎の感染によって日常社会が崩壊していくなかで生き残ろうとするサバイバルホラーで、第58回小学館漫画賞一般向け部門を受賞した。平凡な主人公の自意識や孤独を描く日常劇から、感染者「ZQN」があふれる極限状況へと移行し、恐怖のなかで変化する人間関係や集団心理を緻密な背景描写とともに描いている。

Kengo Hanazawa (born 1974) is a Japanese manga artist from Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture. After working as a manga assistant, he made his serialization debut in 2004 with "Ressentiment" and later created "Boys on the Run," a story of romance, frustration, and personal failure. His representative work, "I Am a Hero," won the 58th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category. The survival-horror series follows struggling manga assistant Hideo Suzuki as ordinary life collapses amid a mysterious infection. Moving from a close study of its unremarkable protagonist’s loneliness and insecurity to a society overrun by infected beings known as ZQN, the manga depicts shifting relationships and group behavior under extreme pressure against meticulously rendered everyday settings.
