濱口 桂一郎（hamaguchi keiichiro）- 労働官僚、労働研究者

濱口桂一郎（はまぐち けいいちろう、1958年 - ）は、日本の労働政策研究者。大阪府生まれ。東京大学法学部卒業後、1983年に労働省に入省し、労政、労働基準、職業安定などの行政に携わる。欧州連合日本政府代表部一等書記官、東京大学客員教授、政策研究大学院大学教授などを経て、労働政策研究・研修機構労働政策研究所長。労働法政策を専門とし、日本型雇用システム、労使関係、非正規雇用、若者や女性の雇用などを研究している。『ジョブ型雇用社会とは何か――正社員体制の矛盾と転機』では、職務を明確にして雇用する「ジョブ型」と、人を採用してから職務を割り当てる日本の「メンバーシップ型」の違いを軸に、正社員、非正規雇用、賃金、解雇、女性や高齢者の働き方など、日本の雇用をめぐる問題がどのような仕組みから生じているのかを論じている。

Keiichiro Hamaguchi (born 1958) is a Japanese researcher specializing in labor policy and labor law. Born in Osaka Prefecture, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo and joined Japan's Ministry of Labour in 1983, working in areas including labor relations, labor standards, and employment policy. He later served at Japan's Mission to the European Union and held academic positions at the University of Tokyo and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. He is currently Director General of the Research Institute for Labour Policy at the Japan Institute for Labour Policy and Training. His research examines Japan's employment system, labor relations, non-regular employment, and employment issues affecting young people and women. In "Jobugata Koyo Shakai to wa Nani ka: Seishain Taisei no Mujun to Tenki," he contrasts job-based employment with Japan's membership-based employment system to explain the institutional roots of issues involving regular and non-regular workers, wages, dismissal, and the employment of women and older workers.
