パトリック・J・デニーン（Patrick J. Deneen、1964–）は、アメリカの政治学者。ノートルダム大学政治学部教授を務め、政治思想、憲政論、古典政治哲学を専門としている。現代のリベラリズムに対する批判的研究で知られ、とりわけ自由主義が社会や共同体、民主主義に及ぼす影響をめぐる議論に大きな影響を与えてきた。代表作『リベラリズムはなぜ失敗したのか』では、リベラリズムは外部から打ち負かされたのではなく、その理念が成功裏に実現された結果として矛盾を抱えるようになったと論じ、現代政治思想に新たな視点を提示している。

His scholarship focuses on political theory, constitutionalism, and the history of political thought. Widely known for his critique of modern liberalism, he examines how liberal ideas have reshaped communities, institutions, and democratic governance. His best-known book, "Why Liberalism Failed", argues that liberalism's current crisis stems not from its failure to achieve its aims but from the success of its core principles, making it one of the most influential works in contemporary political philosophy.
