Paris Marx is a Canadian technology critic and journalist whose work examines the intersection of technology, politics, corporate power, labor, and urban life. Marx holds a master's degree in urban geography from McGill University and hosts the award-winning podcast "Tech Won't Save Us," while also publishing the Disconnect newsletter. Their work has appeared in TIME, Wired, MIT Technology Review, NBC News, and other publications. In "Road to Nowhere: What Silicon Valley Gets Wrong about the Future of Transportation," Marx examines Silicon Valley's visions of transportation, including autonomous and electric vehicles, Uber, and the Hyperloop.
