Hirokazu Hasegawa is a Japanese management scholar, venture capitalist, and certified public accountant. He is Professor at the Graduate School of Business and Finance (Waseda Business School), Waseda University, and Director of the Waseda Research Institute for Family Business. After beginning his career as a securities analyst at Nomura Research Institute and later working at JAFCO, he founded Global Venture Capital, where he helped finance and mentor numerous startup companies. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, venture management, and family business, bridging academic research with practical experience in venture investment. His best-known book, *Venture Management*, provides a comprehensive introduction to entrepreneurial management, covering business creation, financing, organizational growth, and venture strategy.
