ハンス・クルーク（Hans Kruuk、1937年 - ）は、オランダ生まれの動物学者、行動生態学者。オックスフォード大学で動物行動学の先駆者ニコ・ティンバーゲンに師事し、カモメとその捕食者の行動研究で博士号を取得。ティンバーゲンらとタンザニアのセレンゲティ生態研究所の設立に携わり、同研究所副所長を務めたのち、英国の陸域生態学研究所などで研究を続け、アバディーン大学名誉教授となった。ハイエナ、カワウソ、アナグマなど食肉類の野外研究で知られる。『ニコ・ティンバーゲン――動物行動学を築いたナチュラリスト』（原題 Niko's Nature: The Life of Niko Tinbergen and His Science of Animal Behaviour）では、師ティンバーゲンの生涯と研究をたどりながら、動物を自然環境のなかで観察する行動学が形づくられていく過程と、コンラート・ローレンツや若き日のリチャード・ドーキンスら研究者たちとの交流を描いている。
Hans Kruuk (born 1937) is a Dutch-born zoologist and behavioural ecologist. He studied animal behaviour under the pioneering ethologist Niko Tinbergen at the University of Oxford, where he earned his doctorate studying gulls and their predators. He helped establish the Serengeti Research Institute in Tanzania and served as its Deputy Director before continuing his research at Oxford and the UK's Institute of Terrestrial Ecology. He later became Honorary Professor at the University of Aberdeen. Known especially for his field studies of carnivores including hyenas, otters, and badgers, Kruuk has made major contributions to the understanding of animal behaviour and ecology. In "Niko's Nature: The Life of Niko Tinbergen and His Science of Animal Behaviour," he traces the life and scientific work of his former mentor, showing how Tinbergen's close observation of animals in their natural environments helped shape the emerging science of ethology and describing his relationships with researchers including Konrad Lorenz and the young Richard Dawkins.
