濱田 轟天（HAMADA Goten）- 漫画原作者、漫画家

濱田轟天（はまだ ごうてん、1976年–）は、東京都出身の漫画原作者・漫画家。2000年にちばてつや賞一般部門へ入賞した後、さまざまな職業を経験しながら、2009年からSNSなどで漫画を発表。2021年に出版社への持ち込みを再開し、2022年に『平和の国の島崎へ』で漫画原作者としてデビューした。瀬下猛が作画を担当する同作は、幼少期に国際テロ組織へ拉致され、戦闘工作員として育てられた島崎真悟が、30年ぶりに帰国して日本の日常生活になじもうとする物語。第8回さいとう・たかを賞を受賞した。喫茶店での仕事や隣人との交流といった穏やかな暮らしの傍らに、島崎の戦闘技術、過去の記憶、組織からの追跡を配置し、戦場で身につけた習慣から抜け出せない帰還者の生活を描いている。

Gouten Hamada (born 1976) is a Japanese manga writer and artist from Tokyo. After receiving recognition in the general category of the Chiba Tetsuya Award in 2000, he worked in a variety of occupations and began publishing manga on social media and other online platforms in 2009. He resumed submitting work to publishers in 2021 and made his debut as a manga writer in 2022 with "Shimazaki in the Land of Peace," illustrated by Takeshi Seshimo. Winner of the eighth Saito Takao Award, the series follows Shingo Shimazaki, who was abducted by an international terrorist organization as a child and trained as a combat operative before returning to Japan thirty years later. Scenes of café work and neighborhood friendships unfold alongside Shimazaki’s combat reflexes, traumatic memories, and pursuit by his former organization, depicting a returnee attempting to build an ordinary life without ever fully leaving the battlefield behind.
