エレノア・キャットン（Eleanor Catton、1985–） ニュージーランドの小説家。カナダ生まれ。ニュージーランドで育ち、歴史や文学の形式を取り入れた緻密な構成と重層的な物語で知られる。2013年、『ルミナリーズ』（原題 "The Luminaries"）でブッカー賞を受賞し、同賞史上最年少の受賞者となった。代表作『ルミナリーズ』は、1860年代のニュージーランドのゴールドラッシュを舞台に、殺人事件を軸として欲望や運命、人間関係が複雑に交錯する群像劇を描いている。
Eleanor Catton (born 1985) is a New Zealand novelist. Born in Canada and raised in New Zealand, she is known for intricately structured fiction that draws on historical settings and literary traditions. In 2013, she won the Booker Prize for "The Luminaries," becoming the youngest recipient in the award's history. Her best-known novel, "The Luminaries," is set during New Zealand's 1860s gold rush and weaves together murder, fortune, fate, and human relationships into a richly layered historical narrative.
