Aso Kamo (born 1971) is a Japanese novelist, advertising planner, and former NHK producer. While working in NHK's Public Relations Bureau, he launched the broadcaster's official X (formerly Twitter) account, **@NHK_PR**, whose witty and unconventional posts made him widely known as its original voice. After leaving NHK in 2014, he devoted himself to writing while continuing to work in advertising and television production. Blending humor with empathy, his fiction and essays explore human relationships and contemporary society. His novel *Bansōsha* (*The Guide Runner*) tells the story of a visually impaired athlete and his guide runner, offering a moving exploration of trust, perseverance, and the meaning of supporting others.
