アーネスト・シャイダー（Ernest Scheyder）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト。ロイター通信でエネルギー転換や重要鉱物（クリティカルミネラル）、鉱業を担当し、電気自動車や再生可能エネルギーの普及を支える資源開発と、その地政学的・環境的課題を取材している。世界各地での現地取材をもとに、資源確保をめぐる国家間競争やサプライチェーンの変化を継続的に報じてきた。代表作『The War Below』では、リチウムや銅、ニッケル、レアアースなどの重要鉱物をめぐる競争を通して、脱炭素社会への移行と資源安全保障の最前線を描いている。
