Aravind Adiga (born 1974) is an Indian novelist and journalist. After working as a reporter for publications including *TIME* and the *Financial Times*, he made his literary debut. In 2008, he won the Booker Prize for "The White Tiger." His best-known novel, "The White Tiger," follows the rise of a young man in a rapidly changing India, exploring poverty, inequality, corruption, and the realities of class through his journey.
