Anne Enright (born 1962) is an Irish novelist. Her fiction is acclaimed for its psychological depth and its exploration of family, memory, loss, and identity. In 2007, she won the Booker Prize for "The Gathering." Her best-known novel, "The Gathering," follows a woman confronting her family's past after her brother's death, exploring the fragility of memory, inherited trauma, and the possibility of renewal after loss.
