Andrew Sean Greer（アンドリュー・ショーン・グリア、1970年生まれ）は、アメリカの小説家、短編作家。ブラウン大学卒業後、オークリー・ホールのもとで創作を学んだ。ユーモアと哀愁を織り交ぜた洗練された文体で、愛、喪失、アイデンティティ、人間関係を描く作品で高く評価され、現代アメリカ文学を代表する作家の一人とされる。2017年刊行の『Less』は、中年のゲイ作家が世界各地を旅する姿を軽妙なユーモアと深い人間観察で描いた長編小説として高く評価され、2018年のピューリッツァー賞 フィクション部門を受賞した。その続編『Less Is Lost』もベストセラーとなっている。著書に『The Confessions of Max Tivoli』『The Story of a Marriage』『Less』『Less Is Lost』などがある。

Andrew Sean Greer (born 1970) is an American novelist and short story writer. After graduating from Brown University, he studied creative writing under Oakley Hall. Widely admired for his elegant prose, wit, and emotional insight, Greer's fiction explores love, loss, identity, and human relationships with warmth and humor. His novel Less (2017), the story of a middle-aged gay novelist whose travels around the world become a journey of self-discovery, won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Its sequel, Less Is Lost, also became a bestseller. His other notable works include The Confessions of Max Tivoli, The Story of a Marriage, and Less Is Lost.
