アンドリュー・ロス ソーキン（Andrew Ross Sorkin、1977年–）は、アメリカの経済ジャーナリスト。コーネル大学卒業。『ニューヨーク・タイムズ』の金融コラムニストで、同紙の経済・金融ニュースサービス「DealBook」を創設し、CNBCの番組「Squawk Box」では共同司会を務める。『リーマン・ショック・コンフィデンシャル』（原題“Too Big to Fail”）では、金融機関の経営者や政府高官への取材を基に2008年の金融危機を再構成し、リーマン・ブラザーズの破綻と金融システム救済をめぐる交渉、対立、土壇場の決断を描いた。同書はジェラルド・ローブ賞のビジネス書部門を受賞。2025年刊の『1929』では、1929年の株式市場大暴落へと対象をさかのぼり、歴史資料や新たに発掘した文書を用いて、投機熱の高まりと崩壊、ウォール街とワシントンの政治的な対立を描いている。
Andrew Ross Sorkin (born 1977) is an American financial journalist and a graduate of Cornell University. He is a financial columnist for The New York Times, the founder of its business and financial news service DealBook, and a co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Box. In Too Big to Fail, he reconstructs the 2008 financial crisis through reporting and interviews with financial executives and government officials, tracing the negotiations, conflicts, and last-minute decisions surrounding the collapse of Lehman Brothers and efforts to rescue the financial system. The book won the Gerald Loeb Award for Best Business Book. Published in 2025, 1929 turns to the Wall Street crash of 1929. Drawing on historical records and newly uncovered documents, it follows the speculative boom and its collapse, alongside the political struggles between Wall Street and Washington.
