Andrew Leigh(アンドリュー・リー、1972年生まれ)は、オーストラリアの経済学者、政治家、作家。オーストラリア国立大学で経済学を教えた後、連邦議会議員となり、経済、競争政策、生産性、社会的不平等などをテーマに政策立案と研究の両面で活動している。『Randomistas』『Reconnected』『The Shortest History of Economics』『Battlers and Billionaires』などの著書を通じて、経済学の知見をもとに、格差や社会的流動性、コミュニティ、公共政策の課題を幅広く論じている。実証研究と政策の現場を結び付けながら、より豊かで公平な社会を実現するための視点を提示し続けている。
Andrew Leigh (born 1972) is an Australian economist, politician, and author. After teaching economics at the Australian National University, he was elected to the Australian Parliament, where he has combined academic expertise with public service in areas including economic policy, competition, productivity, and inequality. He is the author of Randomistas, Reconnected, The Shortest History of Economics, and Battlers and Billionaires, among other books that explore inequality, social mobility, community, and public policy through the lens of economics.
