Amanda Vaill（アマンダ・ヴェイル）は、アメリカの伝記作家、ノンフィクション作家、ジャーナリスト、脚本家。Harvard University卒業後、出版社で編集者として勤務し、1992年から専業作家として活動している。芸術家や作家、歴史上の人物を題材とした伝記・歴史ノンフィクションで高く評価され、綿密な史料調査と文学的な筆致を特色とする。『Everybody Was So Young』はNational Book Critics Circle Award最終候補となり、『Somewhere』の執筆ではJohn Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundationフェローシップを受けた。2026年には『Pride and Pleasure: The Schuyler Sisters in an Age of Revolution』でPulitzer Prize for Biographyを受賞した。著書に"Hotel Florida"、"Somewhere"、"Everybody Was So Young"などがある。
