Takashi Amano (born 1951) is a Japanese certified public accountant and tax accountant specializing in inheritance and estate planning. After graduating from Keio University, he worked at Arthur Andersen before becoming Representative Tax Accountant of Legacy Tax Corporation and Chairman of Legacy Co., Ltd. Recognized as one of Japan's leading experts on inheritance, he has advised on more than 30,000 estate cases and has written over 100 books on inheritance, taxation, and wealth succession. His best-known book, "Yatte wa Ikenai 'Jikka' no Sozoku" ("Mistakes to Avoid When Inheriting the Family Home"), explains the common pitfalls of inheritance and offers practical guidance for passing on assets smoothly while avoiding family disputes.
