阿部賢一(あべ・けんいち、1972年生まれ)は、日本のチェコ文学研究者、翻訳家。東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科博士課程修了、博士(文学)。現在、東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科教授。専門はチェコ文学・文化、中欧文化論で、フランツ・カフカやミラン・クンデラをはじめとする中欧文学の研究・翻訳に取り組むほか、プラハを中心とした都市文化や旅行文学についても幅広く研究している。学術研究と一般向けの執筆を両立し、中欧文化の魅力を日本に紹介し続けている。著書に『複数形のプラハ』『カレル・チャペック』『翻訳の世界地図』などがある。

Kenichi Abe (born 1972) is a Japanese scholar of Czech literature, translator, and Professor at the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology. He earned his Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Tokyo and specializes in Czech literature, Central European culture, and comparative literary studies. His research focuses on writers such as Franz Kafka and Milan Kundera, while also exploring the cultural history of Prague, travel writing, and the intellectual traditions of Central Europe. Through his scholarship, translations, and essays, he has played a leading role in introducing Czech and Central European literature to Japanese readers. His notable books include "Plural Prague," "Karel Čapek," and "A World Map of Translation."
